Having seen the success of canned wine across the New World, we decided to bring it here to Old World England.
We are the first to can wine in the UK and our inaugural release is a delicious lightly sparkling dry white made 100% from the Bacchus grape. If you haven’t tried it already, it smells and tastes like an English summer with hints of elderflower and pear.
Our wine is produced locally in Surrey using only English grapes, our cans are endlessly recyclable and very light so they don’t harm the polar bears. Indeed, we are committed to becoming the most sustainable wine brand in the country. We even recycle old corks and use them for packaging.
Our bubbly pairs perfectly with a picnic, a festival mud bath or a night in watching Bake Off.
We are The Uncommon. Two founders cultivating not just grapes, but a community.
Buoyed by the UK`s latest global sparkling wine awards, we escaped our 9 to 5s and went in search of a farmer, a winemaker and a canner to make our Uncommon dream a reality.
We worked with the farmer to grow and pick the fruit, the wine maker to crush, press and ferment the grapes and the canner to break new ground.
After 18 months of hard work we are very proud to be the first producers of canned wine in the UK and we are so much more than a pretty label.
So come join us, we are the uncommon.
